Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions

What can I create with iGradeify?

Upload your study material and turn it into revision summaries, CBSE-style practice papers, mind maps, saved notes, a weekly timetable, and personalised study insights.

What files can I upload?

PDF Study Hub accepts PDFs and ZIP files containing PDFs. Mind Map accepts PDF, TXT, and Markdown files.

What happens when I upload a PDF?

iGradeify reads the text in your browser first. You can then use that material to generate a summary or create a practice paper based on the chapter you uploaded.

Can I create a mock paper from my own chapter or notes?

Yes. Upload a chapter PDF or paste your own text, then choose your subject, class, difficulty, and paper style. iGradeify creates a structured practice paper with a mix of question types and solutions.

Does iGradeify only work for CBSE students?

The current test formats are designed mainly around CBSE-style preparation. You can still use the PDF tools, notes, mind maps, timetable, and study rooms for other subjects and learning goals.

Can I make a mind map from a chapter?

Yes. Upload a PDF, TXT, or Markdown file to extract key concepts into an interactive mind map. You can move ideas, add connections, expand branches, and export the finished map as an image.

Will my notes and study material be saved?

Your timetable, learning progress, and completed work stay saved when you are signed in. You can revisit and build on them anytime.

Can I study with friends?

Yes. Create or join a Study Room using a room code. You can work together on a shared whiteboard, exchange files, chat in the room, and take part in live quizzes.

Can I export my work?

Yes. Mind maps can be exported as an image, whiteboards can be saved as PNG files, and generated test papers can be printed or downloaded as PDFs.

How does iGradeify personalise my study plan?

It uses your test performance, weak topics, confidence, revision history, timetable, and upcoming exams to suggest what is most useful to study next.

Will the AI always be correct?

No. AI can make mistakes or miss context, especially in long or unclear documents. Use iGradeify to practise and organise revision, but verify important answers with your textbook, teacher, or official syllabus.

Is iGradeify free to use?

iGradeify is currently free for students, with no credit card required. If this changes in future, pricing and limits will always be shown clearly before you use a feature.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Open the account menu from your avatar (top right) and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your account data and cannot be undone.
